We don't do this alone

Organisations who pick up when we call.

If you work with a masjid, a shelter, a school or an agency and you're supporting a mother who needs assistance this week, you can start that conversation for her.

Referring someone

How a referral works from your side.

Short, and it does not put you in the middle of it.

  1. Call or write, with or without her details

You don't need her consent to ask us a general question. If you want us to contact her directly, tell us she's expecting it and give us a good time to call.

  2. We speak to her, not about her

The conversation is hers. We will confirm back to you only that contact was made, never what was discussed, unless she asks us to.

  3. Funds move the same way as always

Usually within 24 hours, and payable directly to a landlord or supplier where that is simpler for everyone.

Working together

Beyond referrals.

We're building the longer-term half of this, meaning financial literacy sessions and employment pathways. We would rather build it with organisations who already run training, placements or childcare than build it alone.

We're also glad to speak at a gathering, run a stall, or simply meet so that the next time one of us calls the other, it isn't a cold call.

Write to us directly

Tell us what you're working on.

If this is urgent, say so in the first line and give us a number. We read these daily, but we answer the phone faster.
